Welcome!
Looking for artwork that’s not a copy?
Something special – perhaps bespoke?
MY WORK IS A ONE OFF – I DON’T DO COPIES
So you’ve seen dreary and off the shelf copies of the regular art, churned out as ‘mass production’ copies.
Now you’re looking for something special? Maybe a particular photo from a holiday destination – as a memory of the times you had?
Have a look at some of my work, see what takes your fancy. Or maybe you are inspired to find something you’d like painted rather than a print, knowing that it is yours – a genuine original to keep and on display in your own home.
So keep art alive, look through my work, I’m not a painter like Constable, Monet, Matisse, or a whole host of many many famous painters. I enjoy what I paint, and I want you to enjoy what you receive.
What size are my paintings?
All my current work is on canvas board 40cm x 50cm (16″ x 20″ inches) or 25cm x 50cm (10″ x 20″ inches) with a white wooden frame surround, complete with hanging plate. If you wish for other sizes, then I can discuss with you what you require.
NEW! I’m also creating paintings set in an A4 size self standing – white border photo frames, with a clear plastic layer. This is a new range for rooms with little space, or as a picture on your sideboard rather than wall hanging.

What mediums do I use for my paintings?
I paint with watercolours and acrylics, which will last for years to come, and the paintings gain in value depending on my artistic skills.
So what does a painting cost?
Well that’s dependent on size and how many hours I put in. You can see from my galleries that most are in the range of £25 to £50.
Do I have a gallery?
I do sometimes place my art in other places – my work has been displayed at; The Orchard Nursery Village Shop & Cafe..
on the A265 road just outside Burwash, East Sussex. Why not pop in for a cuppa – excellent food and take a look..?
Burwash Monday Painters BMP
Some Monday afternoons I’m at BMP during the winter months, and out and about looking for scenes to paint the rest of the year.
Thank you for reading, and looking forward to hearing from you. Graeme Hird – Artist
